A Graphic Book Giveaway

I absolutely loved the graphic memoir The Impostor's Daughter by Laurie Sandell, and am happy to let you know that I have five copies to give away, courtesy of Anna of Hachette Book Group.

My shameless gushing you can read here.

Others' praises below (blurbs copied from the dust jacket):

The Impostor's Daughter is the mesmerizing account of Laurie Sandell's hunt for the truth about her father. Maybe he's a con man, possibly he's delusional, but to Laurie he's a larger-than-life figure--the most adventurous father in the world. Compellingly told and wonderfully drawn, The Impostor's Daughter is also the story of Laurie's personal struggle with pop-culture's zeitgeist trifecta: sex, celebrity, and substance abuse. It's a stirring debut. [Nathan Englander]

A stunner. This coming-of-age tale for grown-ups may be a feast for the eyes, but it's also a sock in the gut--a wrenchingly funny tale of deception, addiction, and what it means to search for true love when you were raised on lies. [Carole Radziwill]

The Impostor's Daughter is funny, frank, and absolutely engaging. It's about truth and consequences and families and men and women and fame and, well, life itself. It's wonderful. [Susan Orlean]

To enter, just drop a comment. Please make sure I have a way of contacting you, with either an email address or a link to your blog. Contest is open to residents of US and Canada, until July 18th.

The first graphic novel that I read is "Maus". My son was studying it in his Grade 9 English Class. Graphic novels tell a story with words and pictures and are open for interpretation.

Please enter me in this book giveaway.

My book group chooses from 3 selections each month. We had a graphic novel come up recently but it wasn't chosen but I'm interested in that genre so please add me to your drawing:

Can I please participate even if I am not a resident in the US/Canada area? A friend of mine is happy to receive it at her home (and then mail it out to me) if I happen to win.
I adore graphic books and the sheer amount of talent that goes into them.
